Candlelight Vigil
Texas State Capitol - South steps
8:30 to 10:00 p.m.
The Travis County Sheriffs' Law Enforcement Association members, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Austin Association of Professional Firefighters, will hold a candlelight vigil on the South steps of the Texas State Capitol.
The public will be invited to join police officers and firefighters from all over Texas for the candlelight vigil. Representatives of TCSLEA and AAPFF will make brief closing remarks. The memorial activities of September 11, 2002 will end with the playing of Taps.
All of the events are open to the public free of charge.
